This maintenance window is the first of three that will happen over the coming weeks. This first step is required in preparation for upcoming major database upgrades.
We will be performing minor PostgreSQL database engine upgrades in our Aurora clusters across all data centers.
Minor database engine upgrades require a reboot of the database server, therefore there will be up to two minutes of disruption when this happens. We will upgrade each data center one at a time and will begin the first upgrade shortly after 06:30 UTC on Sunday, 28th May 2023.
